Top Ten Kalos Pokemon That Should Have A Mega Evolution

#8 - Aegislash

If anything on this list doesn't deserve a Mega Evolution based of the power it already has, then Aegislash it probably the Pokemon. Aegislash has been overpowered since the day of its release, a powerhouse that has seen it remain in the top tiers competitively since day one. Stance Change is one of the better abilities in all of Pokemon. Add this with a base of 150 for both offensive or defensive stats depending on which stance it is in, and you have an unbelievably strong Pokemon on your hands, one of the most popular in from the Kalos Region.

The difficult conversation comes when you begin to think about what a Mega Aegislash would look like, especially where its statistics are concerned. We truly believe it will remain a Ghost / Steel type, since there is really no reason to change it otherwise unless they wanted to do something that hasn't been seen before. Sure, other Dual Types have switched a Typing after Mega Evolving, but they had a reason. Mega Aegislash would have no such reasoning. We also think it would keep its ability in Stance Change. The old expression goes if something is broke, there is no need to fix it.

And that just leaves us with its Free 100 Point Stat Boost. We are going to go out on a limb and do something that most Pokemon fans would want to see: Aegislash receiving more Speed. Let's face it, Aegislash has virtually no speed and relies on Shadow Sneak to hit first. We don't think it all go to its speed, but getting its speed up to a 100 Base Stat would be nice, leaving it to have an equal split of the rest to the remainder of all of stat categories. They would be small bumps since most of its boost would go to its Speed, but anything at this point is a plus for it.
