Question for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

How come on the final dark brotherhood mission you have to kill all the old members?

You don't kill all the members of the Dark Brotherhood in the final mission. You kill a few leading up to the final mission, and also kill the traitor in the final mission but you never actually kill all off them.

If you mean the purification,then it is because there is a traitor among them(not really it turns out to be someone else).If you mean your missions for the black hand,then it is because Spoiler:
