in the room under the thieves guild master room, there is a wood
It is the second room in the thieves guild hall (not the 1 underground) I can use the door but nothing happens if I try to use it.

If you go around to the road of The Waterfront you can see a boarded up door. That is the Thieves Guild's "house", the only entrance is the basement one.

That is the door that is boarded up on the strip outside. You can't use it because you can't go through it.

If you go around to the front of the Waterfront area, you will see that the front door is all boarded up. No plot twist, no secrets, just an old wooden door that was long forgotten. That is why in the game, they say the house was sealed off. This obviously means that the door was sealed and no one was to enter. The door remains inaccessible.
