When your Mercantile skill reaches a certain level, you can invest in stores by giving money to the merchants. This increases the amount of gold they carry, which helps when you need to sell items that are worth a lot of gold.
You need to be an Expert in Mercantile before you can invest in a store (this also includes the fences in the Thieves Guild). At Master level all shops (and presumably the fences too) will have an extra 500 gold to barter with. However, even with Mercantile being a Major skill it is still one of the slowest to level up.
It requires a expert in mecentile, then you can invest money into stores so they can have extra 500 gold to barter with
Make it to arcane univeristy and create spell of mercantile 100points for 3 seconds, and you can then invest in stores when casting spell. if you cant cast it yet then make a practice spell for mercantile 1point for 1second and practice till you can cast hgr lvl spells
