I have almost 300 hours and reached level 28. I don't want to give up all my stuff. However, I'm tired of looking at my character. Is there any way to change the race of my character and still keep all my stuff this late in the game? Also does anyone know how to finish the Mystery at Harlun's Watch quest when you kill all the trolls and it asks for evidence but nothing happens when you go into the room with the dead towns people? Thanks.

No it is not posible to change your race that late in the game I wish there was too but one thing that I learned was if you save right before you exit the sewers in the begining it will save some time and efort to start a new person( be sure to not save over that save) Harlun's Watch / I think that if you serch the dead bodys you will find evidence also you might try to talk with the person who gave you the quest and ask him or just serch the cave for it (you might have to take some troll fat I think thats what I did it was a long time ago that I did that quest
U can change your appearance just not your race , by becoming a vampire you will no longer look the same, also many helmets cover your whole face like the deadric helmet or the knights of the nine helmet or even clavicus vile's masque and surely many others.
Sorry, there's no way to change your face. But appearances you can with armours and stuff.
Sorry mate, you cannot change their racial characteristics once you commit to them. As for the evidence, you have to search the room.
I search on other websites and I see one guy answer the same question: "Yes.
- Type showracemenu into the console.
- Modify your character
- When you are finished, don't click on "Done", this will reset your stats! Instead save the game
- Load the game you just saved."
I haven't try yet, but you should try.
