I have Mankar Camoran's staff and robes but I can't find anyone who can buy it for anywhere near what it's worth. Help!

Hmm, for those two things, I'm not quite sure. If you've completed the Thieves guild, I would say to try Fathis Ules. He has about 1500 gold available with a mercantile skill of 100 so hopefully you'll have one to match, you can find him in the Elven Gardens in the Imperial City.
Also check the Merchants Inn in the Market district of the Imperial City, there's a merchant in there as well that I made a good fortune off of when selling goods. I want to say he had a maximum of 2500 gold when I used him.
Um, I think that depending on your merchantile skill and how well the buyers like you, it doesnt realy matter where you go to sell.

If you become a master of mercantile all shops have 500 more gold and you can also invest in them so they have another five hundred gold so I think 2500 is the max gold someone can have. Fathis Ules is the person with the most gold in the game but his mercantile skill is high so he gives you bad prices. If you do the Renald Jemane quest and give the great sword of Chorrol to the count then you can't speak to Fathis Ules so I advise you to not do the quest or give the sword to him instead.
