Sunset for a Demonnapper

You can get this quest by talking to demons. In my case, I got this while talking to a demon in Shinjuku National Park. Also, you have to wait until you’re able to destroy the initial barrier in Ikebukuro and after completing the main quest “Hunting Xi Wangmu”.

The Kishimojin Temple where you’ll find Hariti is located a few steps to the southwest of Ikebukuro – Sunshine Front. After a brief dialogue, you’ll need to head back to Ikebukuro Underground District to find her son. Once there, the demonic barrier to the northeast should now be gone after defeating Xi Wangmu. Go upstairs to reach Ikebukuro’s East Entrance.

Search the room on the western side of the area, south of the stairs leading to the station. Save your game since you’ll be facing a mini-boss demon inside. The man inside will shoo you away but don’t leave and you’ll find a young boy. The men will call their “master” which you’ll need to defeat.

These enemies have no known weaknesses and the demon will summon a replacement minion if you take out his henchmen. Use party-based attacks to whittle their HP and to make him waste his turns calling forth reinforcements. Tetrakarn will work wonders in this battle since the demon uses physical attacks a lot and his henchmen uses guns to attack.

After Defeating the Demon, you’ll have the option to choose what to do with the demonnappers. The Quest will be complete afterward. In addition to the experience and item rewards, you’ll be able to fuse Kanseiteikun and Lady Hariti in the Cathedral of Shadows.
