I'm stuck in the church of Kvatch.

I'm in the church with the emperor's son. Every time I go outside, I die. No matter what I do. Is there some certain way to kil those demon things? Do you have to use a specific weapon? Or anything like that? Please help me here.

ANSWERS

There is no specific weapon it is just a matter of parrying their attacks and then hitting them when there is an opening and making sure you keep your health up if you fight with a sword and sheild that is. If you are an archer you might want to swap to a dagger and shield if you have one as bows are no use in close combat. All weapons will affect them the only enemies you need certain weapons for a Ghosts (Silver, deadric or enchanted) but against oblivion creatures you can just use your stongest weapon. Do not allow them to surround you if all the guards are dead try to move about and fight them one at a time.

No specific weapon is needed to kill the "demon things" as you refer to them. Now, if they are shooting fire at you, then all you have to do is pay attention to where the fire is going and dodge. Now the key, as ressurection so helpfully pointed out is to parry their attacks. Then when you find an opening hit them with all you got. Hope I helped. Good Luck!

You can go to options then gameplay to change difficulty, which you can make it easier or harder

No...you can kill them with anything. I don't know why you are having so much trouble. Let the others kill them. Do other quests to raise your skill.

All of these suggestions are useful but if you already tried fighting and keep dieing then maybe you should just rune for it. Hotkey your health potions and dart for the exit.
