Dup cheat???

Ok so I've got two of the same scrolls, I click on it twice, drop it, pick it back up and theres still only two. What am I doing wrong thanks.

Ok it took me a bit to understand how this dupe cheat works. First of all you need 2 identical scrolls to start with and an item(s) you want to dupe. First click on the scrolls twice. Then drop 1 of the item you want duped. The more scrolls you have the more the item will be duped. For example if you have 2 scrolls an you drop 1 of an item, 2 will be laying on the ground when you exit the inventory screen. If you have 4 scrolls, then drop an item, you will get 4 of that item and so on. You cannot get more items than the number of scrolls you have.

This is the strategy I used to build up a stack of scrolls. First I went into the shop and bought 4 different scrolls. Wait for 24 hours and go back to the shop to see if they had another scroll of the type I had originally bought. I kept doing this until I was able to buy another one such as burning touch for example. Then I went outside which autosaved my game. I duped the other 3 scrolls I had. So at this point I had:

A)2x Beguiling Touch
B)2x Bound Helmet
C)2x Burning Touch
D 2x Cold Touch

I returned to the shop and sold one of each I had duped, lets say B,C, and D. I went back outside and duped them again. Once again I returned to the shop and sold the dupes of C and D and bought back the dupe of B I had sold the first time. Now I have 1xA, 4xB, 1xC, and 1xD. Keep in mind that once I dupe the scrolls again and I select scroll B twice I will now get 4x of each scroll I dupe. Basically you want to keep doing this unil you get about 10 of 1 scroll, then from that point on you will get 10x of any item you want to dupe. I hope this answers your question and isn't too confuseing lol.

Make sure the item you want to dupe is one. When you have one of the item you want to dupe. Then it's dupeable because you only have 2 scrolls. However, you can dupe it 3 times with 3 scrolls, or even 100 times with 100 scrolls of same kind.
