Can anyone tell me how to properly use the duplicate trik for ps3

Get at least two of the same scroll, press x twice on it in the inventory, scroll to the item you want to duplicate and drop it (Square). Some items, like armour and weapons, might not work, but if the cheat did work then there should be two of the item (or more, depending on how many of the same scroll you had)on the ground.
