II am trying to get the crusaers gauntlets and I prayed at the alter and I said yes. It tells me to go down to see Kelen and I don't know what to do. I tried talking to him but there is no new subject to talk about. Wht are you supposed to do or is my game just broke

Praying at the altar teaches you a new spell. Use it on Kelen and it cures him of his family curse and passes it on to you. But don't worry, the curse only knocks off 5 points of your fatigue and once you complete the knights of the nine quest you get cured of the curse aswell.
