Hey guys, I was wondering if there was some way or quest that I could somehow become a sailor or pirate or work on a ship, sailing the seas...ya know, salty jobs! Lol if not is there any sort similar to this?

Nope, there isn't anyway sorry.
(Althought there is one mission where you become stuck on a moving ship after it becomes abducted...but thats about it.)

Yeah in the imperial city's bloating float inn on the waterfront, once you sleep a night the ship becomes hi-jacked and you have to save it, you can ask to join them but they refuse. Also in ANVIL'S harbour the are a couple of missions that can be done on is boarding a haunted ship to receive a cutlass, another is given to you by the dark brotherhood where you infiltrate the ship. You can use a cutlass as you waepond and dress in leather to look like a pirate but I haven't found any ships to buy nor pirate's guilds.

Also, during the "forlorn watchman" quest you can go on a treasure hunt once you have freed the captive...but you will have to swim there...still no ships...
