What is the canon outside peach's castle for?

It can only be acsessed at the end of the game and it brings you to the top of the castle.

Once you beat the game and have all the stars, the cannon will take you to the top of the castle where you meet Yoshi.

You get 120 stars, then go outside. Blast to the top of the castle, and then you'll meet yoshi!

You can enter that Cannon once you have all 120 Stars - use it to get to the top of the Castle; I won't tell you what's up there, you'll have to find that out on your own!

Once you get all the stars in the game, you can acess it and blast to the top of the castle, where yoshi is, and he gives you all the extra men you can carry!

It can be opened once you have collected all 120 stars in the game and you can shoot yourself to the roof of the castle where you can get the flight cap block, and you can meet Yoshi. He will talk to you saying congratulations on beating the game and give you 100 lives and a new triple jump which you are invincible and sparkling flips until you hit the ground

P.S Yoshi will leave after he rewards you but when you shut off the game and turn it back on, your lives and jump will be gone but Yoshi is back on the roof so you can get the rewards back and repeat.
