hall of mirrors

Question asked by benderbot on

hall of mirrors

I have two questions: Is it possible to go behind the mirror in the N64 version? And also, I read a cheat saying that if you jump high on something not reflected off the mirrors, the room will flood. Are these two true??

The only mirror in the game...

1. No, it is not possible in the N64 version, only on the DS.
2. That is not true, the only thing not reflected off the mirrors is the entrance to Snowman's Land. Jumping into that at any height simply enters the level.

Guest answered:

1. no
2. do you know the paiting with the water-spider on it? simply jumping into the painting will be normal. but jumping high into the topmost area of the painting and... the map will be flooded.

Guest answered:

1. No

2. The double goomba painting holds a course in the mirror, even in N64

what's a goomba and what the heck is toad's tool's 64??
Guest answered:

I think you may have that confused for another world in the room before the hall of Mirrors in which you enter at a different height and the water will be at a different level

Guest answered:

First, possibly yes. Crouch where one of the block's reflection should be.
Second, I'm not so sure, What does it flood?
