Question for Super Mario 64
Where is the red cap located? I need to get the wings and can not find the cap.

First you need to get 10 Stars, then a ray of light will appear at the entrance of inside the Castle - walk under the light and then look up at it to be transported to the Bonus Stage, collect the 8 Red Coins for a Secret Star and then Ground Pound (A+Z) the Red ! to unlock the Flying Cap in every Level.

When you enter the castle from the outside into the main room and have 10 stars look at the ceiling and you will be in a special zone where you can find a swicth on a pedestal and that's where you'll find the red cap. After that just enter a painting and the red cap will be solid

This one is actually very easy, in the main room, stand on the sun plate lookin' thing and look up. You will be transported to a place were there is a tower in the middle with a big, red ! Switch. Ground pound that switch to solidify all red ! Blocks that contain wing caps. Also, if you also want an extra power star, try getting all the red coins in the secret level. Hope this helps

ive tried this but i activated the button midway while playing so i cannot use red cap in levels. is there another way?

In the castle hub on the colorful tile stand in it hit c up and look up

If you have 10 or more stars stand on the sun carpet then press the c+up button then look up and your in
