When you walk into the castle, and you go into the old wooden door into the court yard, and beat the Big Boos,and you go and read the statue, what's, "L is real 2041" mean? Every one who knows please tell me ASAP, I'd really love to know. Thank you for answering. Sent in by:TWILIGHT LINK

Some people say 2041 is the number of total coins in the game, and to get Luigi you have to get every coin without saving. Personally, I've finished almost every so-called "true" method except this one to get Luigi and none of them work. This one is near impossible unless you have a lot of paper and a big pencil or lots of them, because every time you lose a life and reenter, the coins all come back. Some people claim this is the way, but I don't believe that anybody could actually do it anyway. Maybe they predicted that in 2041 they'd make a Super Mario 64 with Luigi in it? Well they already did that with the DS version, so I'm not really sure what it could mean. For all I know, they're just stating a fact, that Luigi is a character in the Mario series and that there are 2041 coins in the game. Maybe they put it on to challenge you and you get something. Maybe it is Luigi? Who knows?
