Is everybody sure that you need all 120 stars to see Yoshi.

Yes you need 120 stars and the cannon outside the castle will open.

Then you can use it to see Yoshi on the roof.

Yeah, we're sure that you need ALL 120 Stars to get to Yoshi...

The Cannon outside the Castle is ONLY accessible when you have all 120 Stars!!!

I believe that the only way to get up there is to use the cannon and you need 120 stars for that, plus Yoshi will only appear after you get 120 stars. Doubt it? Stand under the roof and listen. If you have 120 stars, you can hear Yoshi's footsteps. If you don't have 120 stars, you can't. I've heard that by using combinations of Wall Kicks and jumps, you can get to the roof. However, again, Yoshi doesn't appear until you have 120 stars anyway, so this doesn't help much.
