If you remove your hardrive from your Xbox 360 will it's data be deleted?

You are able to remove and reinsert the Hard Drive on your Xbox 360 as much as you like, without losing data. Each console has a limited amount of internal storage for things like the operating system, so it can run without any hard drive attached at all.

If you insert another one from a different console, it can carry on just as it was before. So no, removing your hard drive will not cause you to lose any data.
