Xbox Live Ports

Published by SuperCheats Staff on Aug 13th 2013
If you’re accessing Xbox Live from a managed environment (office network) you may want to ask your IT department to open the ports below. However, access to Xbox Live will still depend on your local IT’s policies and restrictions.

  • TCP 80

  • UDP 88

  • UDP 3074

  • TCP 3074

  • UDP 53

  • TCP 53

These additional ports may need to be opened if you’re experiencing issues using Video Kinect’s chat feature:

  • UDP 1863

  • TCP 1863

You may also need to open port UDP 3330 if you continue experiencing NAT issues.
If your console is connecting via router and if your router has its own firewall application, you may need to manually open these ports. Please consult your router’s documentation, visit its support website or contact the manufacturer support for more information.

If your console is connecting to the internet through your PC and you have a third-party firewall application installed, you may need to open those ports in that firewall software as well. Please consult the developer's support website for more information.
