How to Improve Color Saturation and Tint of your Xbox 360

Note: This option is enabled when your console is connected via HDMI.


  1. Go to Settings tab, select System and select Console Settings



  2. Select Display then HDMI Color Space



  3. Select the option that best suits your current HDTV or monitor.

HDMI Color Space settings
Auto: Automatically set to RGB or YCbCr for resolution and content type based on HDMI recommendations.
Source: Automatically set to RGB or YCbCr based on the game or video source.
RGB: Displays games and videos in RGB format, set on HDMI compliant devices
YCbCr709: Recommended for high-definition movies.
YCbCr601: Recommended for standard-definition movies
