Your team of operatives are going to need weapons if they are going to have any chance of dismantling the military forces which have taken over London. Our How to Get the Best Guns guide will tell you how you can get these weapons.
It is important during the early game that you recruit a good team of operatives in order to get decent weapons. Some of the places which you will be able to do this when you start out is by going to hospitals, monuments, and checking out homeless people as they always have good skills and some even have useful weapons. Every character you profile on the streets of London will have their own skills and weapons, below is a list of those you should target for their weapons.
- Hitman
- Spy
- Construction Worker
- Weapon Dealer
- Police Officer
- Security Guard
The best character from the list above is the Hitman who without doubt has the most powerful weapons in Watch Dogs: Legion. These include a G36 Assault Rifle and a Desert Eagle Pistol. You will be able to find this character in the Nine Elms borough once it has been turned defiant. The Spy, who can be found in the City of Westminster borough once it has been turned defiant is also a good character to get as they come with a silenced P9 pistol which will come in useful during the campaign in missions that require stealth. Unlike the previous two characters the Construction Worker is not difficult to get and can be found early in the game at any construction site. When you recruit them you will gain access to their nail gun, which serves as a one-shot kill weapon.
You can only get new weapons by recruiting new characters which means if you want to change your weapon you have no other choice but to also change the character. Therefore if there is a particular weapon you are after you will have no choice but to unlock the character that has that specific weapon, there is no other way. Not being able transfer guns between characters is an intended feature implimented into Watch Dogs: Legion to force you into switching your DedSec operative when you want to use a different gun.
