Before committing any crimes, it is important to hide your identity. By default, you can wear a bandanna mask but it won’t conceal your face completely. Once you have access to your first Fence (person who can buy stolen items from you), you’ll be able to buy more masks from him, including the executioner’s mask that completely hides your face. It will also help using a different outfit and possibly a different horse.

Store Outfits
You can store 3 outfits on your horse’s inventory by default. This can be increased up to 5 different outfits by upgrading your saddle. Take note that you can only change your outfit and wear a mask while you’re on horseback or when you’re standing near your horse so make sure to wear them before committing a crime.
