Completing Castor's Ridge Homestead

Early in the game, you'll find this homestead still under construction. You may also find it getting attacked by outlaws. Lend a hand and save the father and his kids by killing the attackers.

Come back some time later to find the house partially built. Talk to the father again to learn that they've run out of materials. You have the option to lend him $100 or help him get some lumber from the Appleseed Timber Co in New Elizabeth. It will be easier to just lend him the money instead of getting the lumber yourself.

After securing the lumber or lending him money, come back again to find that the homestead is already completed. Talk to the father again to get $150 (this is the amount I got after lending him the money, I'm not sure how much you'll get by getting the lumber yourself)
