Exploring Jails can be an arduous task and heading in without the proper stock of supplies often lead to failure. That’s why cooking and preparing your own healing supplies is recommended. In Persona 5 Strikers, players will have access to the Cooking feature via Joker’s Kitchen. In this page, we will cover the basics of this new helpful feature, as well as a complete recipe list and recipe locations where you can get the dishes’ respective recipes.

Why Cook?

If there are recovery items and healing skills from personas, why bother cooking? Well, recovery items are usually expensive, compared to the total cost of the ingredients of the cooked food that will have similar or comparable effects. Furthermore, potent healing items are somewhat rare and hard to come by. Cooked dishes can be made as often as needed and you’ll be able to stock more.

The dishes you can prepare in Joker’s Kitchen will have various effects, primarily healing your party’s HP or SP, or applying buffs to aid your team in battle. SP is a valuable resource in Persona 5 Strikers since this is the fuel that allows your party’s personas to use their skills, including healing and recovery ones.

Related Trophies

There are two trophies related to the game:

* Short Order Cook: Cooked food for the first time.

* Master Chef: Cooked 12 types of food.

Recipe List

In this section, we will cover all recipes in Persona 5 Strikers and information on how to unlock every recipe. There are 19 recipes in total but you only need to cook 12 unique dishes to unlock the Master Chef trophy. Some of them are tied to specific locales or cities and can be missed if you’re not thorough with your exploration. These missed recipes can still be bought from Sophia’s shop but they’ll be more expensive compared to their original price if you bought them (or acquired them for free) from their original sources. For example, you can get a recipe for around 1,600 yen but if you miss it, it will appear in Sophia’s shop with a price of around 20,000 yen.

Some recipes can also be obtained by talking to your allies in the real world on certain dates or completing specific requests. There are also some dishes that are locked behind the Master Chef bond skill. Make sure to get that bond skill once you get the hang of cooking.

If you find a shop selling cooking ingredients, it’s actually recommended to buy them all. This is because the shop inventories are limited. Money will eventually become trivial later in the game, (especially if you’re grinding a lot with the corresponding Bond Skills to increase your loot yield) however, the ingredients will not. It’s better to have the necessary ingredients at hand to cook those high-tier dishes, especially in the late game.
