The SuperCheats Unofficial Guide to Minecraft (hereinafter referred to as the "Guide") was written by Peter Boots-Faubert and CM Boots-Faubert as a work-for-hire for Web Media Network, Ltd.  The Guide is licensed to appear exclusively upon the website SuperCheats.com and other websites licensed to display the Guide under agreement with Web Media Network Ltd.

Questions about the contents of the Guide may be directed to its authors, CM Boots-Faubert and Peter Boots-Faubert, by email to [email protected] with the subject to include the words ' Minecraft Guide' as otherwise your email may not be received due to the odd behavior of the author's spam filter.

Creating a guide for Minecraft was a vastly different experience than that of any other guide we have written largely due to the need to write it speculatively in advance of the release of the console version of the game for Microsoft's Xbox 360 LIVE Arcade.  While it took longer to write, and was more complicated due to the lack of full disclosure with respect to the upcoming versions, it was nonetheless a fun project. 

Because of the nature of the game and the pending release of the console version gamers can anticipate that this guide will change as it is updated and expanded.  While this process will eventually grow to involve other people, we want to extend sincere thanks to the following gamers for their assistance in writing this guide:

Rich -- for your patience and willingness to allow us to do what needed to be done and for not shooting us as a result of the unexpected delays - what we ended up with is a better guide thanks to your patience and your willingness to be pleased.   Thanks mate!

Swash01 (Peter) -- Both co-author and the bloke who put out 80% of the game play effort for this guide -- you did well.

YvonneBF -- In addition to magically appearing at my elbow with a cup of tea and a biscuit and a few kind words (which helped immensely) Yvonne kept track of all of the images that were used to illustrate the guide, making sure that we inserted images everyplace that we intended to; she also maintained the notes for the guide, without which we would have been lost when it became obvious that we would have to do a complete re-edit of the guide to make it compatible for future expansion and updating.
