After getting Legend badge stop and talk to the man at the counter in the Route 7 gate and he'll let you know that there is a weird storm way back on Route 7. Fly over to Mistralton City and go North to Route 7 and make your way to the heal house. The old lady will pull you inside and tell you a story about the weird storm. Head back outside and Thundurus / Tornadus will appear. It will automatically leave as soon as you see it no combat.
After that check the bulletin boards in the gates and they will tell you what Route the storm is at. Head there fast and if the Route is still storming then wonder the tall grass for the Legend to appear. These two are runners so Mean Look to keep them around and work them down as fast as you can. Then Ultra Ball and hope for the best.

I had thunderous tornadoes and landorus then I traded my tornadoes with my friend. After the trade I thought I could catch him again. I look at the bulletin boards and did everything to find him. I lost track of my friend after the trade. Can someone please trade me a tornadoes I trade them back a thunderous if they do.
what we really want to know is how can we catch tornadus in white and thunderus in black!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've noticed this question from many people. They want to know where the other is. Example: They've captured Tornadus, and want to know where Thundurus is. Tornadus is Black Version exclusive, and Thundurus is White Version exclusive. If you want the other, you need to trade with a friend (temporarily) to get the other and then capture Landorus.
Another thing I've noticed I've found quite peculiar myself. Example:An unusual thunderstorm is happening at route 9! Player goes to route 9 and finds no storm. I am unsure as to why this happens, but the Legendary Pokemon IS at that route, it just doesn't always cause the storm. To fix this, just enter and exit a building repeatedly, or walk through the tall grass and participate in wild encounters until the storm appears.
As for capturing it, weaken it as much as possible then use a move that inflicts sleep. The Pokemon will still leave battle! However, it will remain asleep. Use a Quick or a Dusk Ball (after 8) for highest capture rate.
I caught thundurus but I wanta catch tornadus how do I do this
my thundurus is BEAST its at lv 91
All it took me is 2 night slashes from my zoroark and one strength from my tirtouga and where do you find tornadus >¦l
