Story Mode

Like most Dragon Ball Video Games, Story Mode is the Main Storyline battling mode found in Dragon Ball FighterZ. Story Mode is yet another single player mode, one of a cinematic nature that leads players through the story of Android 21. Story Mode also involves virtually all of the main characters from practically all of the different sagas of the Dragon Ball Series! Story Mode is divided into three sections called Arcs, including the Super Warrior Arc, Enemy Warrior Arc and Android 21 Arc, each giving a separate yet unique insight on who Android 21 is.

While playing Story Mode, you will earn upwards of 200,000 Zeni just by defeating all the battles placed before you. After each and every battle, you will also earn certain Power Ups that you can actually equipped on your fighters during all three sections of Story Mode, allowing you to have more power during fights or gain more Health and Zeni after them. Speaking of your fighters, you will actually have to slowly save each of them from being killed during Story Mode in order to unlock and use them during it. On top of all of this, by combining certain fighters on your Team while facing certain foes that stand before you, you will unlock more cinematic scenes called Link Events.
