Android 21 Arc - Chapter 9

Walkthrough:

The ninth and final chapter of the Android 21 Arc - as well as the final chapter in all of Story Mode - begins with the fighters arriving on the Land of the Kai's. Elder Kai and Supreme Kai have been keeping a close eye on what has been going on, and Goku asks them if it would be okay if the final battle against the evil Android 21 takes place here so that earth doesn't get destroy in the process. Though Elder Kai is upset by how Goku always seems to bring the worst fights to their sanctuary, he reluctantly agrees. Android 18 quickly wonders if the evil Android 21 will be able to find them, but Goku assures she will have no problem doing that. Almost immediately after he says this, the evil Android 21 arrives.

After appearing, the evil Android 21 will take note how the good Android 21 has yet to eat since they separated. She honestly can't believe the good Android 21 continues to fight the urge to do so, even more so how the good Android 21 could think she could defeat her without gaining more Power. Ultimately, however, the evil Android 21 is glad because of this, as this means there will be more delicious treats for her after she defeats all of them in battle. It is then you will have to battle evil Android 21, the Final Boss.

After defeating her, Goku will advise all of the fighters that the fight isn't over, as the evil Android 21 has healing abilities that are quickly getting her back to strength. It is then that the good Android 21 shares that they must destroy every last Cell of evil Android 21, or else she will keep healing herself and coming back. Goku decides that the only way to defeat her once and for all is with a Spirit Bomb, like the did before with Kid Buu since he had the same healing capabilities.

While Goku prepares the Spirit Bomb, you will have to hold off the evil Android 21 by battling her with only the good Android 21. After you defeat the evil Android 21 in battle once again, Goku will unleash the Spirit Bomb at her. However, even it isn't strong enough to defeat her, as she still has enough Power to catch it and hold it off for now. It is then that the good Android 21 returns your human soul to Android 18, asking her to take care of you and make sure you are returned to your real body safely. After she does, the good Android 21 approaches the evil Android 21 and tackles her, sacrificing herself so that her evil persona is annihilated as well under the Spirit Bomb.

With both Android 21s now gone, Whis and Beerus suddenly arrive with Bulma, learning from the others what had happened to both of them. Whis says he believes the good Android 21 had sacrificed herself not only to save the world from her evil persona, but also because she knew her hunger would continue to grow and would lead them right back to square one. Goku then mentions how he can't wait to see Android 21 again, and the others assume he's talking about reviving her with the help of the Dragon Balls.

However, he says he doesn't feel that is enough, not after she had just sacrificed herself to save everyone. Oh no, instead, he wants to talk to King Yamma himself and ask if he would be kind enough to reincarnate her. Even Beerus says that he might talk to King Yamma as well, hoping it would help the cause to revive her. Bulma says they can do whatever they would like to do, but only after they return your human soul to its body. Everyone will then thank you, and then your soul will be returned.

This will end the Android 21 Arc of Story Mode, as well as Story Mode as a whole. With this achievement, Goku and Beerus will keep their promise of talking to King Yamma about reincarnating Android 21, as you will then Unlock Android 21 as a playable character. You will also earn loads of Zeni for finishing this last chapter of Story Mode, as well unlocking the Z-Link Events of the Final Boss Battles against Android 21 in each the Super Warrior Arc, Enemy Warrior Arc, and Android 21 Arc. Congratulations!
