Main Storyline Plot

The main storyline found in Dragon Ball FighterZ takes place some time after the events revolving around both Beerus the Destroyer and Golden Frieza. The story is broken into three different sections - Super Warrior Arc, Enemy Warrior Arc, and Android 21 Arc - each giving a certain perception on who Android 21 is and how she came to be the head of the Red Ribbon Army. It will be up to your player to figure out the entire story, as you ultimately defeat the evil that is Android 21.

In each given Arc, the story will begin with strange Energy-suppressing waves restricting the use of powers of all the Z-Fighters, as well anyone else in possess of supernatural strength and abilities. To add to the drama, some of the greatest villains from the Dragon Ball Series are recalled to life with the use of the Dragon Balls, including the likes of Nappa, Captain Ginyu, Frieza and Cell. Clones of both the Z-Fighters and Villains have also been created and thrown into the mixing, causing trouble for the entire planet.

During each section of the story, you will be a human soul that has been linked to certain characters, allowing you to control them in battle since the waves are preventing them from doing that very thing. In the Super Warrior Arc, you will be helping out the Z-Fighters, first being linked to Goku. You will be tasked with saving the other Z-Fighters, as you defeat any and all clones and villains on your way to defeating the infamous Android 21. In the Enemy Warrior Arc, you will be linked with Frieza, having to group together the Villains of the Dragon Ball Series (as well as joining forces with the Z-Fighters) in hopes of defeating Android 21. And in the Android 21 Arc, you will learn the full extent of who Android 21 is as you are linked to Android 18 and Team with the other Androids created by Dr. Gero.
