Enemy Warrior Arc - Chapter 8

Once Android 16 has been defeated, Frieza, as Chapter 8 begins, demands to know from him where Android 21 is. Frieza is tired of the situation, wanting to stop the waves and punish Android 21 for all she has done. Android 16 refuses to answer, and because of this, Cell and Frieza look to destroy him. However, before they can, Android 21 suddenly appears. But instead of coming to save Android 16, she has actually come to watch him breathe his last breath. She knows he was the one who betrayed her, having linked your human soul to Frieza.

Before long, Android 21 will Power up to her true form, looking as though she is ready to battle the group of fighters. However, immediately after she does, she drops to one knee in pain, leaving her wide open to be attacked. Cell and Frieza take advantage of this, both attacking her with all they have. Android 16 quickly jumps in front of Android 21, absorbing both blasts as he protects her. Little did Android 16 know that Android 21 was faking, hoping he would do just as he did so he would suffer all the more. It is then that Android 21 completely obliterates Android 16.

After Android 16 is gone, the group of fighters wonder if Android 16 was truly a traitor to Android 21, or if he was actually her greatest ally of all. Frieza and Cell, however, don't really care, attacking Android 21 again will all they have. Unfortunately, their attacks do nothing to Android 21, being far too weak compared to her Power. Android 21 laughs it off, but advises them that they still have time to get stronger before she eats them. Goku doesn't understand what she means since they aren't food, but in the eyes of Android 21, human and clones are all food to her.

Android 21 quickly flies off after this; the fighters don't follow as they know they aren't strong enough to defeat her. Frieza advises the others that the human soul inside of him must get stronger in order for the link they share to do the same, giving them their only shot at defeating Android 21. After this, you will have to defeat two more waves of clone battles on the Map. The first wave will see you save and unlock Vetega after its Clone Boss Battle; the second wave will see you have to save Goten and Trunks, thus unlocking Gotenks, as well as Gohan (to which you will unlock as well). After defeating the following Clone Boss Battle after the second wave of clone battles, Chapter 9 will begin.
