I am sorry.You cant get a dog in this game.But you can get a animal dog in your town.

I believe you are refering to K.K. Slider. his Schedule is the same as on the origninal Animal Crossing. He comes every Saturday at I think 7pm. you will find him in the Cafe in the downstairs of the Museum

If someone moves between your town and a friend's town a few times, they might leave you a gift when they move away. Dog characters are likely to give you a Dog House. It pulls in the chain and shows red eyes from inside if you press A on it, meaning there must be a dog in there.

To ItaKure: This angers me as much as the next guy, but K.K. Slider comes ONLY on saturdays and ONLY between 9 p.m. and i think 12 p.m. ive only ever gone between 9 and 10 so you can find that out i just know he comes at 9 pm hope i helped P.S. my girls name is Lydia my towns name is I <3 GIR (from invader zim for whoever watches it) and my code is 197877980435 add me please

you can get a dog what you have to do is get all the shells of the beach than catch a fish. put the shells in your room then put the fish on a table than wait till tommorrow then wallaa you have a dog staring hungrily at the fish
