I heard that you can become mayor if you get all the golden tools, is that true?

That is not true you cannot become mayor in the game, Tortimer is always the mayor but it would be cool if you could become mayor...

You can actually become mayor on the game, once you have paid all of your debts off!! my friends has done it apparently :/xxx

Not true I read that too. It took me a year to get all of the golden tools then on the Flower Fest I talked to him and all he did was give me advice!!! It is FAKE!!!!!

my game came with cheats and so i have all the golden tools and the largest expansion for the house. Im talking to him and all he is giving is advice, but my friend showed me that she was mayor !!!

As if I men seriously I have had the game for over year and have all golden tools and spoke to tortimer on festivals but he only gives advice so not to be rude but I think your mate was totally lying 2 you soz but it`s not true you cannot but if you want to know how to get the golden shovel buy 2 bury 1 w8 24 hours and dig it up hope I helped ....... Aad
