holidays?

I wait for holidays but when i get up none of the people selibrate it the turtle guy isn't outside no body is outside now that i think of it...so WHAT HAPPENED!!! why is it like there is no holiday?.....................................

There isn't Halloween on this kind of game, they make up their own celebrations, but there is 4th of July, the mayor gives you a bunch of fireworks! I just drop them on the ground and he gives me more! There is the New Year's countdown too. But they do there own celebrations like the Bug-Off or the Acorn Festival even La-Di-Day.

Many holidays (like Christmas) are religion based or region based, and since they wanted a game that was friendly with any gamer in the world, they had to not celebrate any of those. Halloween is only a US thing and Christmas/Easter is only for Christians. So they couldn't base it off either of those things.

well this game is sold almost all around the world and some people do not celebrate the same holidays

Actully, there is a holloween. You buy candy and everyone dresses up as a pumpkin headed person. Then a real ghostt of holoween (guy with pumpkin head tht you never seen b4) will tell you stuff ang give you stuff

Barly any holidays on wild world. Tons on city folk for wii.

Nitendo wanted to make it so any one wouldn't feel left out but there are some normal holidays nut not much.
