Chapter 5-1: The Doctor's Plan

Well, back to the mines for us (this plan doesn't seem very smart by the way...).

Head into the mine and you'll soon meet a new enemy: the spider. It will stop and spray purple stuff at you that stays on the ground. Do NOT step in it: jump over it and kill the spider. Head further in and kill two more and nab the relics after them. Keep your eyes open for a breakable wall on the north side as you go for some sunstone and travel to a scene.

After the scene you will battle a spider and bat. The bat is much like the wind birds, except a tad sturdier and shoots sonic waves. Take them both out and head to the next area for two more bats (and some sunstone past a wall in the northwest corner). Continue on to see another short scene.

Head forwards and take out the two spiders, then to the left for two spiders and a bat. Continue upward for some relics and a scene. Once you have control, head forward and... yep, the random guy isn't friendly. So now we are murders for sure. Yea...

This miner chucks explosives like the goblins, so be careful and take him out. Head forward and kill two more spiders then break the mining equipment for relics. To the north you must cross a narrow bridge, then its two more miners to kill (you monster you). One of them has a gun that will either fire two shots in a row or one charged up spherical shot.

Take them out and head off to the right. Take out the two bats you find and look for a wall beyond them with some sunstone behind it. Further in are two gun miners; take them out and the door opens. Drop down for a scene.

Battle time. You'll face off against four waves of enemies here, but it really is quite easy. Robots with clubs (dodge and kill), shooters and explosive miners. Once you take out the first wave immediately attack the reinforcements to easily pass this. On top of that the fourth wave (for us at least) was a single explosive miner! Ha!

Once you are done use the relic generator and continue into the elevator.
