Chapter 11-4: Chasing the Key

Head forward and in the first room some robots will attack. You are quite big now so don't fret too much. Watch out for the two in the back to roll some barrels at you though. Defeat them and head forward. A robot will chuck boulders at you when you get between the lava, so be careful.

Head forward and you'll see a guard controlling a robot. This thing shoots missiles (easy to dodge) and does a three hit combo. Just air attack it and smack it afterward. Move forward for a scene.

Kill the two guard robots and move forward for four more regular robots much like the first room. Once past them destroy the wall for some relics. Head onward and fight the guardian and two shield guardians. Take out the shield guardians first and wait for the guardian's wave attack. You are so big that he will drop in a single hit! BWAHAHA! Head onward for a scene.

Well... darn.

We have to fight the giant robot here. It has a pretty nasty sword combo (do *not* get hit by this), will only ever let us hit it once at a time, and can dash off fairly fast. Plus we are poisoned and loosing health over time!

Thankfully you don't have to *beat* her: you just need to get three hits in to end the fight. Start off by taking out the smaller robots and then focusing on her. The best time to hit her is during her three hit combo. When she does the third and final overhead slash, dash in at her at an angle (so you don't get hit) then quickly hit her (she is fast and you aren't guaranteed a hit). If you are lucky she will at times dodge next to you and you can get an easy hit in. Of course you also have your powers but I wouldn't use one until the very last time you need to hit her.

Afterwards there will be a scene. Kill the robots attacking you and take note of the warning below:

POISON RELIC

Knack has been shot with a poison relic and is melting. Pick up relics to restore his health.

Head forward and climb the wall. At the top is a new type of robot. This one has green sawblades that come out of his arms and will try and hit you with a two hit combo. Either rush him and attack or attack afterward. Break the wall on the left for relics and continue down the path climbing when you can.

Next up is the saw robot with two ranged robots. Take them out and grab the relics from the north, then continue on to a scene.

After that head forward and grab the relics from the right, then forward to a robot battle. Beware of the far robot as he can shoot green energy shots at you like a machine gun (run around the area to him and dodge if needed - take him out first). He can also fire three slow, big green shots. He is all around annoying and very dangerous. Let's call him the "Gattling Bot" since he loves to use his rapid fire attack. Mop up the other bots, grab the relics and continue. Head up to a fight with two sawblade robots and watch the scene afterward.

Head forward and take out the three club robots (easy), however be ready for the gattling bot nearby. Take him out and head forward to see two more gattling bots. You will likely take damage here if you don't use a power. Continue on and drop down and collect the relics. Keep following the path destroying robots until you get to where the key is and a scene starts leading to the next part of the chapter (and a boss fight!).
