To the Temple of Lahkesis
Kratos is once again riding on Pegasus back, dead set on traveling to the Island of Creation. During the first portion, simply avoid the projectiles shot at you by the Griffins. Keep an eye out for the Raven who appears shortly after. Press the X button to ram into the Raven and press the correct buttons to carry out the execution. You can use Typhons Bane this time; its useful when fighting the Harpies.

You will eventually face some Griffin Riders. When you have wounded their Griffin, get close to them and press the Circle button to hop on. If the Griffin still has a Rider, you will have to fight the rider first before you can kill the Griffin. Press the buttons that appear onscreen to kill the Rider and Griffin, and Kratos will then land on Pegasus back. Enemy Riders may attempt to leap onto Pegasus as well. If this happens, move the Left Analog Stick back and forth to hurl them off. There is a second Raven, so keep an eye out.

BOSS BATTLE: Dark Rider
Ultimately you will encounter the Dark Rider. Start attacking the enemy as you would a normal Griffin Rider and eventually Pegasus will enter another wind tunnel where you must dodge the Riders projectiles. To dodge the first projectile, veer to the left. To dodge the second, move down. Just a reminder that, by default, the flight controls are inverted, so pushing up on the Left Analog Stick will move Pegasus down and vice versa. To dodge the next projectile, move to the right. To avoid the next, move up. To dodge the last projectile, veer to the left.

When you are through the wind tunnel, Kratos will attempt to board the Dark Riders Griffin. Press the buttons that appear in the bottom left corner of the screen to best the Rider and kill the Griffin. Get ready to press another button as Kratos plummets to the island below.

Make your way across the scalable wall to the save altar at the far end of the walkway.

PHOENIX FEATHER (4/30): From the save altar, head to the left end of the walkway. The Phoenix Feather is in the first unmarked chest in the alcove near the end of the walkway.

Phoenix Feather 4

Climb up the ladder near the save altar, then climb across the ceiling and get onto the upper walkway. Youll have to fight a group of Undead Legionnaires once you are on the walkway. Afterwards, move to the end of the walkway and jump up onto the ledge. Climb up to the top of the ladder and youll find yourself in a large area. Kill all of the Hounds that spawn near the lever. If you have upgraded Athenas Blades to at least level two, a good attack to use on these Hounds is Rampage of the Furies (L1 + Circle). When all of the Hounds have been dealt with, move to the right end of the area and slash the hanging body near the two Red Orb chests. Once the corpse has been knocked to the ground, approach it and press R1 to pick it up. Carry the body over to the lever at the left end of the area, drop it, then pull the lever.

Hanging Corpse

Once the lift has reached the bottom, pick up the corpse and carry it over to the floor switch straight across from the lift. Make sure that the corpse is pressing the switch down, thus opening the first door. Now take hold of the handle next to the archway and turn it by slowly rotating the Left Analog Stick. When you have wound up the handle completely, quickly run through the archway and beyond the second door that is opened for only a short time. Move to the end of the proceeding area and kick down the bridge. Walk onto the bridge to trigger a brief cutscene.

GORGON EYE (6/37): After the cutscene, head back to the end of the bridge and follow the path on the right. An unmarked chest containing the Gorgon Eye is at the end of this path.

Follow the winding path to the left of the bridge. Move fast as it quickly begins to crumble beneath you.

BOSS BATTLE: Cerberus
This three-headed beast has a variety of attacks in its arsenal, the most damaging being its fireball projectiles. Keep your distance from Cerberus and roll before the fireball hits you. Cerberus will also charge and attempt to pounce on you. If you happen to get pinned, move the Left Analog Stick back and forth to break free. First, use Typhons Bane to pick off some of the Cerberus health. You should, at the very least, have Athenas Blades upgraded to level two. If this is the case, a good attack to use on Cerberus is Rampage of the Furies (L1 + Circle). Cerberus can dodge this combo quite adeptly, however, so only use this attack if Cerberus does not have enough space to dodge to the side. It would be best to simply ignore the Hounds, as they continuously respawn.

Attack Cerberus until a Circle appears over it. At this point approach it and press the Circle button to start the takedown. Tap the Circle button until Kratos tears one of the Cerberus heads off. When a head is torn off, you receive a mix of Red and Gold Orbs. If the Rage meter is full, a good time to activate it would be when Cerberus is down to its last head. When only one head remains, the next takedown deals the finishing blow.

After the fight, open the Blue and Green Orb chests on the right side of this area to restore your health and magic meters. Move to the far right corner of this area and destroy the third statue. Next, drag the pedestal over to the ledge that Cerberus jumped down from, climb onto the pedestal and jump up onto the ledge. If you want to speed up the process, drag the pedestal out from the indentation, start pushing it towards the ledge, hold the X button to charge a kick and then release the button to launch the pedestal towards the wall. Once you are up the edge you can use the save altar to record your progress.

Walk through the gap in the railing and slide down the wall to the walkway below. Climb to the top of the ladder that is between the two chests and start swinging along the ceiling. Beware of the Sentries moving along the ceiling as they may attempt to pull you off. Smash the arch that you come to and continue to the end. Move up the piece of climbable wall at the end of the way and onto the broken bridge. Use Typhons Bane to remove the Undead Archers that are stationed on the walkway across from the bridge. Move towards the door at the end of the bridge, turn left when you reach the gap in the railing and leap across to the parallel walkway.

Get up onto the platform above the walkway. Use the Green/Blue chest to restore whichever meter you need most. A group of Sentries appear and some Archers spawn. Remove the Archers first then concentrate on the Sentries. Once all of the enemies have been dealt with, step onto the lift at the end of the platform and throw the lever to ride it down to a lower level.

Upon stepping foot into the proceeding room, a siren spawns. You must kill three Sirens to remove the large stone door blocking your progression. If you are within range of a Sirens scream, Kratos becomes stunned. If this happens, move the Left Analog Stick back and forth to snap out of it. Aside from its scream, the Siren has one other attack, a physical strike that deals quite a bit of damage. When the Sirens claws start to glow blue, press L1 to block, or move the Right Control Stick to roll out of the way. While stunned, Kratos is especially vulnerable to the Sirens strike so try to free yourself from the screams effects as fast as possible.

Siren
Siren
When you have wounded the Siren, a Circle appears above her head. Approach the Siren and press the Circle button to start the takedown. You dont need to do anything here as Kratos automatically kills the Siren. Once you have killed one Siren, two more spawn. If you killed the first Siren with a takedown, you should have received a number of Blue Orbs, refilling your magic meter to some extent. Use Typhons Bane and concentrate on one of the Sirens until the Circle appears over her head. Perform the takedown, then start firing another Siren. The rock door shatters once you have killed three of the Sirens.

GORGON EYE (7/37): Head to the right side of this room and hop onto one of the two platforms on either side of the giant chain. From the platform, jump onto the chain and start running up it. At the top of the chain, attach yourself to the ceiling and sling across to the chests across the way. Destroy the hanging chain in your path and drop down onto the platform that contains the two unmarked chests. The Gorgon Eye is in the chest on the left.

Proceed through the destroyed door. If you wish, use the save altar to record your progress, then start across the long chain leading to the Steeds of Time.
