To the Lair of the Titan
While riding Pegasus you can perform normal and heavy attacks to fight off the Griffins that are flying alongside you by pressing the Square or Triangle buttons, respectively. Once you have dealt enough damage to a Griffin, it will become stunned and a Circle appears over it. Get close to the stunned beast and press the Circle button to leap off of Pegasus and onto the Griffin's back. As Kratos is falling towards the Griffin, get ready to press the button that appears on screen. Only one button press is needed to finish off the Griffin. Occasionally the Griffin will fly off into the distance and shoot projectiles at you. To avoid the projectiles, press either L1 or R1 to dash to the left or to the right. Try to do this just before the projectiles are about to strike you.

Griffin
Griffin
Once you have killed a few more Griffins, a Raven appears and attempts to crash into you. If it succeeds, Pegasus will start spiralling downwards. If this happens, move the Left Analog Stick back and forth from left to right. By doing so you should be able to level Pegasus. To kill a Raven, when you see one in the distance flying towards you, press the X button to dash towards it. If done correctly, Kratos will leap off of Pegasus and a button will appear on screen. Press the corresponding button to successfully jump onto the Raven's back. At this point, mash the Circle button until Kratos breaks the Raven's neck.

Shortly after facing the Raven, an enemy rider appears. You can't kill the rider, all you must do is survive. As you are flying, the rider will launch projectiles at you. To dodge the first one, move down to the bottom of the screen during the slowdown. To dodge the second attack, move to the left side of the screen. To dodge the third, move up. By default, the flight controls are inverted, so pushing down on the thumbstick will move Pegasus up, and vice versa. You can't dodge the last projectile. When you are hit by the projectile, Pegasus will start to spiral downwards. Once again, move the Left Analog Stick back and forth in an attempt to level Pegasus.

The Hand Cavern
Pegasus becomes trapped by the Titan's giant hand. If you wish to proceed, you must find a way to free the steed from this Titan's grasp. Fight off the Harpies that appear, then drop down from the top ledge.

GORGON EYE (2/37): Start climbing down the wall across from the Green Orb chest. Once you are on the wooden walkway, turn left and drop down to the area with two chests. The Gorgon Eye is inside the unmarked chest.

Gorgon Eye 2
Gorgon Eye 2
Turn left from the Green Orb chest. Attack the Titan's giant finger until it moves and then continue down the path. Get onto the climbable wall and start descending. You can quickly slide down the wall by pressing and holding the R1 button. There are Sentries climbing on the walls that will try to attack you. You can use either normal or heavy attacks, or get close enough to grab them for a quick kill.

Continue scaling the wall and eventually you will reach a gap. Move up against the gap, push the Left Analog Stick to the right then press X to jump over and attach to the wall on the opposite side. When you reach the end of the wall, move up to the ceiling and Kratos will automatically attach himself to it. You can press the X button to quickly sling across the ceiling. Continue moving along the climbable portions until you reach the other end of the cavern.

Once back on solid ground, use the save altar to record your progress, then start down the tunnel up ahead. You will soon encounter a few Harpies and a Minotaur. Concentrate on taking the Harpies out first, then turn your attention to the Minotaur. The Minotaur's attacks are quite easy to dodge. Simply roll to avoid its attacks and jump out of the way if it charges towards you. It is best to use normal attacks, since a heavy attack takes too long to execute, making you vulnerable to taking damage. Once you have dealt enough damage, a Circle appears over the Minotaur. At this point, approach the Minotaur and press the Circle Button. Kratos knocks the Minotaur down and jumps onto it. Mash the Circle button to drive Athena's Blades into the Minotaur's mouth, slaying it.

Open the Green Orb chest if need be and continue towards the Red Orb chest in the distance. Move up the slope that leads to the hanging cage with the dead solider inside of it. Destroy the hanging cage then jump up and take hold of the rope by pressing the R1 button. Kratos then proceeds to slide down the rope to the other side. Move to the end of this tunnel and jump up onto the ledge that you come to. Proceed through the door that leads to the mountain ledge.

To Mountain Ledge

The Fire of Olympus
Start by destroying the archer towers along the wall. Another Minotaur appears but be sure to kill the Undead Archers first to avoid interference during the battle. Once the Minotaur has been slain, jump up onto the platform next to the flame and then up onto the next platform. Hug the wall and slowly move left across the ledge to the next platform. From there, jump up to higher ground. There is a Green Orb and a Red Orb chest at the top, be sure to open them before you slide down the rope. Walk towards the giant bird to activate a cutscene.

Minotaur

Prometheus begs you to free him from his torment. Begin by destroying the chains that bind him. Take the chain on the right side of the hand down to the Fire of Olympus. There's nothing more you can do for Prometheus at this time so continue moving along the mountain side, past the Fire of Olympus before scaling the climbable wall. Open the Red Orb chest once you reach the other side, kill the Sentries and use the save altar to record your progress.

GORGON EYE (3/37): From the save altar, head right until you reach another climbable wall. An unmarked chest containing the third Gorgon Eye is tucked into the dark corner on the right side of the scalable wall.

Typhon's Cavern
Climb up the wall, killing all Sentries in your path, then enter the cave at the top. Open the two chests near the entrance and move towards the grapple point that is situated over the pit. Jump up into the air and press R1 to make Kratos fling himself across the pit using the grapple.

PHOENIX FEATHER (1/30): Once you are on the other side of the pit, turn right and continue heading in this direction until you are able to turn right again. The rope here leads back down to the other end of the pit. Jump up and take hold of the rope to slide back down. Quickly run over to the grapple and fling Kratos back over to the opposite side. Roll through the open gate and open the unmarked chest to acquire the first Phoenix Feather.

Follow the tunnel to the right until you reach a large area. Hop up over the ledge and start towards the middle of the area. A Gorgon appears that you must kill. Gorgons can turn Kratos to stone if he is caught in their gaze. Deliver quick attacks using the Square button, then quickly roll towards the Gorgon, as she frequently attempts to turn Kratos to stone. When Kratos is turned to stone, just one strike from the Gorgon will shatter him, and if he is turned to stone while in the air, once he hits the ground, he shatters to pieces. For this reason do not jump too much while facing a Gorgon. If you are trying to stay out of the Gorgon's gaze, roll instead. If petrified, move the Left Analog Stick back and forth to break free.

Gorgon's Gaze
Gorgon's Gaze
When you have dealt enough damage to the Gorgon, a Circle will appear above her. Approach the wounded Gorgon and press the Circle button to start the takedown. You first must rotate the Left Analog Stick about halfway in the direction that appears on screen. When you have pulled this off, you must then rotate the Left Analog Stick all the way around in the direction that appears on screen. It may take a few tries to correctly do this, and if you fail you will take a bit of damage, but you can restart the sequence by simply approaching the wounded Gorgon and pressing the Circle button.

After you have slain the first Gorgon, you will have to face two of them at the same time. This is even more deadly since all they must do is have one petrify, then the other strike with her tail to shatter you before you can break free. To make matters worse, Harpies soon join the battle. You're going to have to try your best not to become petrified at all. Try to stay as far away from the Gorgons as you can while still being able to hit them with normal attacks. As soon as you are caught in a Gorgon's gaze, immediately roll away from it before you are turned to stone.

Once you have slain the Gorgon, move toward the stalactite on the far right side of the area and slash it until it crumbles. Walk along the narrow path to the platform that contains a Red Orb chest, Green Orb chest, and a save altar. Save your progress using the altar if you wish, then continue down the path toward the Titan in the distance. As you attempt to move across the next path, Typhon tries to push Kratos off by blowing air towards him. Start by taking shelter behind the first rock column while Typhon is not blowing air. Wait behind this column until the moment after Typhon has finished blowing air, then move out from behind the rock column and quickly run across the narrow path to the small rock.

Typhon

2-rockcolumn

Do the same to get to the next rock. Once you are behind another rock column, the path curves and leads up to a path parallel to the one you just walked across. Typhon can still knock you off if you attempt to cross the second narrow path while he is blowing air, so wait at the end of the guarded path and as soon as Typhon stops blowing, run across the narrow path onto the larger platform. Kill the Harpies first. Next, shatter the large portion of rock in the top right corner of this platform. Take hold of it by pressing the R1 button and tap the Circle button to create a rock bridge over to Typhon.

Breakable Rock
Breakable Rock
Walk across the rock bridge to the platform in front of Typhon. Once you are on the platform, press the R1 button when the prompt appears. Kratos pulls himself towards Typhon and plucks out the object attached to Typhon's left eye. This is Typhon's Bane, a magic bow. To use Typhon's Bane, hold L2 and press Square to release an arrow at your target. Use the Right Analog Stick to switch between targets. Each time you release an arrow, a small amount of magic is consumed. When your magic bar is completely empty, you can't use Typhone's Bane until it has been refilled.

Typhon's Bane
Typhon's Bane
Use Typhon's Bane to hit Typhon's right eye until he stops blowing air. Move back down the rock bridge. Here you will see a group of Sentries and a few Undead Archers in the distance. Start by taking the Archers out first. Use Typhon's Bane while moving around in an attempt to dodge their fire and the Sentries' attacks. When the Archers have been dealt with, use Typhon's Bane to kill all of the Soldiers. You have unlimited magic at this point so there is no need to use Athena's Blades. Once you have removed all of the Sentries, the barriers fall.

PHOENIX FEATHER (2/30): After clearing out the Sentries, travel along the path on the bottom left end of the platform. The path leads you down to an area that contains some Sentries, three frozen Red Orb chests, one frozen unmarked chest, and a fire pit. Stand near the fire pit and press the Circle button to grab hold of a Sentry. Press Square to throw the enemy into the fire pit. Continue throwing enemies into the fire until the four chests surrounding the pit are accessible. The Phoenix Feather is inside of the unmarked chest on the far right.

Step onto the portion of bridge on the right side of this platform. First things firstuse Typhon's Bane to remove the Undead Archers that are on the opposite end of the cavern. Once they have been dealt with, use Typhon's Bane to destroy the cage surrounding the first grapple point. Next, press R1 and Kratos will attach himself to the first grapple point. Swing across to the second grapple point, then to the third, and finally across the gap to the other end of the cavern. Destroy the debris blocking your path, then continue towards the save altar. From here, make your way back outside.

The Fire of Olympus
GORGON EYE (4/37): Back outside, slide down the wall and turn towards the broken bridge. Use Typhon's Bane to destroy the cage surrounding the grapple point and use the grapple point to swing across to the platform. The unmarked chest on this platform contains the fourth Gorgon Eye.

As you exit the cave, turn left and use Typhon's Bane to destroy the cage surrounding the grapple point. Use the grapple point to swing across the gap. Move to the end of this platform, draw your bow and use it to shoot Prometheus, ending his life by plunging him into the Fire of Olympus. By doing so, you receive the Rage of the Titans ability. To use Rage of the Titans, press the R3 button and the L3 button (by pressing down on the Left and Right Analog Sticks) when the meter in the bottom right corner of the screen is full. Activating the Rage allows you to easily destroy the Sentries and Minotaur that enter the area.

When the barriers fall, move to the end of the mountain side and jump up onto the ledge At the top of the second ledge, use Typhon's Bane to hit the piece of wood, which lowers a rope. Climb up this rope.

GORGON EYE (5/37): Once you are up the rope, turn right and jump up onto the ledges. Move left to the end of the platform towards the broken bridge. There is a hanging chain next to this bridgegrab hold of it and slide down to its end. Jump over into the opening in the mountain side and follow the path to three chests. The Gorgon Eye can be found in the unmarked chest in the middle.

Jump up and grab hold of the chain that is hanging over the gap and start moving across. There are Sentries coming from the opposite end but before they can bother you, press the Circle button to knock them off. If one grabs hold of you, move the Left Analog Stick back and forth to knock them off instead. Tap the X button to travel across the chain a bit faster.
Once you have made it to the other side, drop down to the area below. Open the Gold Orb chest to fill the Rage of the Titans meter then activate the Rage and strike at the door. After breaking the door, press down on the L3 and R3 buttons to stop the Rage and retain some of the meter for later use.

Hand Cavern
Make your way back to the start of this area, where Pegasus was being held. Place yourself in front of the Titan's first finger and activate the Rage. Immediately start slashing the Titan's first finger until he retracts it, then move on to the next until you are up to his thumb. When all five fingers have been withdrawn, Pegasus is freed. Approach Pegaus and press R1 to mount.
