How do you make your chao go into a pink cacoon?

Just be really nice to it and when it dies it should go into a pink cacoon and come
back to life.

Chao only go into cocoons if theyr'e growing up (so to speak) and becoming an adult. If your chao enters a cocoon gray in color, it will be a dark chao. If it enters a cocoon white in color, it will be a light chao. If blue or anywhere around that color, it will be a normal chao.

P.S. After a chao comes out of a cocoon, it can no longer change types.

Pink=good
Gray=bad
White=hero
Blue= regular
Blackish=dark
