Iv got a dark chao with flowers around it I know it's ready to mate but none of my other chaos are like that (have given it a egg fertility fuit) and how to plant trees in garden

If one Chao is ready to mate, there are two conditions to have an egg with another Chao:
1. The two Chao have to like each other, or at least get along. I don't think there's any indication of this, since no Chao actually fight with each other so you know those two aren't compatible.
2. The Chao that does not have flowers around it has to be an adult (the Chao that does is obviously an adult already.) That is, it has to have come out of a Blue Cocoon.

That is a very good question. You should try every chao you own, and if you already did, your in for something complicated. Egg fruits can help, but I would make your two first chao friends. ( yes, you can, go to chao island or chao tropics for more info) It takes a long time, but if you sit your chao next to eachother, eat together, and play with toys together, and sleep next to eachother long enough, they'll become friends, and it will be easyer to mate them.

They have to be adults ok plus if the chao don't get along it wont work I'm mean I think some chao get in fights
