Question for Pokemon LeafGreen

What type of Pokemon or what sort of attack is used to make a Pokemon sleep, or just distract? Because every time I try to confuse moltres I never catch him and I really want him! How do I get him?

I would recommend that you first lower Moltres HP as low as you possibly can. After that, make Moltres Fall Asleep or Paralyze it. By doing this, it will be easier to catch.

The Moves Sleep Powder and Hynosis can make a Pokemon Fall Asleep. Drowzee, Hypno, Exeggcute, and Exeggcutor are a few Pokemon that can learn Hypnosis by leveling-up. Weepinbell, Victreebel, Exeggcute, and Butterfree are a few Pokemon that can learn Sleep Powder by leveling-up.

Thunder Wave is a move that can cause a Pokemon to be Paralyzed. Pikachu, Magneton, and Jolteon are a few Pokemon that learn Thunder Wave by leveling-up.

After you have lowered Moltres' HP and have made it Paralyzed or Asleep, throw Ultra Balls at it. I would recommend you bring a lot of Ultra Balls.

Hope this helps!
