In Celadon, go to the Game Corner (the place where you gamble on the slot machines) then go to the back where the counter is. There will be a team rocket guy. Talk to him and he'll battle you.
Then he'll leave. Go up to the poster and push a. There's a secret switch. Then go through the door on the right. Get through all the obsticals and you'll eventually fight Giovanni. He'll drop the Silph Scope after you beat him. If you don't have HM-02 (Fly) yet. Go to the west side of celadon and go through the little path.
Use Cut and go north. Next, go west through the building and there will be a little house there. The girl will tell you that you found her hide out and she'll give you HM02 Fly. Teach fly to a flying pokemon. Now, fly to Lavender Town. Go into the giant building (the silph building.) You will meet your rival on the second floor.
You should beat him easily (considering you have the 4th badge) keep facing the trainers and going up the stairs. You'll come across a room filled with team rocket people. Beat them all and talk to the guy, Mr. Fuji. He'll take you to his house. Talk to him again and he'll give you the Pokeflute. Now go back to the west side of Celadon and go through the path. Keep going through the path and find snorlax laying down. Press A on him and use the Pokeflute.
Hell wake up and battle you. He's really hard to catch and you'll come across another one later so I would just kill it for some good exp. Points. Keeps going west to the bike path. If you don't have a bike then you should just chuck your game out the window knowing that you can't beat a rated E game. If you do have a bike.
You down the bike hill thing and then to the east. I'll leave you here knowing you will come across Fuchsia. If you still need help post another question saying "What do I do after I get the Fuchsia badge."
You have to get the 5th badge, but you have to get the poke flute to move snorlax out of the way.you can get it at Lavender Town after you defeat team rocket in the city where the 4th gym leader lives.
Hope I help
Go to the game corner and beat team rocket to get the silph scope after that go to laverndar town and beat team rocket in the tower then you will get the poke flute if you didnt beat the snorlax
