Challenge: #19 The Family Man

Description: The Family Man challenge requires you to run to the Cathedral and defeat Isaac without the ability to shoot tears. There are no Item Rooms available through this challenge, but there are Shops and Devil Deals/Angel Rooms.

Unlock: You unlock this challenge by unlocking Dad’s Key. To obtain Dad’s Key you first must defeat the chest or the dark room in order to awaken the angels in the Angel Rooms. The Angel statues will then be able to be bombed in order to start the fight. Each angel you fight will drop one piece, of two, to the key to get in Mega Satan’s Door. After you collect the second piece of key you will unlock Dad’s Key and Challenge #19, The Family Man.
