Challenge: #18 The Host

Description: The Host Challenge requires you to run to Depths II and Defeat Mom.

Unlock: This challenge is unlocked by default.

Starting Items:

The Mulligan

Spider Baby

The Tick

Strategy: Hive Mind will absolutely be your best friend for this challenge, seeing as you will be spawning both flies and spiders for this run. It will be important for you to find damage boosting items because your spider and fly damage is based on your damage. The tick is a trinket that you can not drop, so if you are one of those people that likes your Trinkets, Mom’s Purse from a shop will allow you to hold two. This Challenge isn’t too terribly difficult, but as long as you play it smart, you should breeze right through.

Completion: Completing this challenge will unlock Tech.5
