Drive the enemy off the planet in all-out warfare. Heroes are available for this mode. Vehicles are available for this mode. This mode supports up to a max of 40 players.

This is your basic defense mode in which the player team must hold and defend control points on the map. The win condition simply requires you to hold all of the control points. That means your team will need to both defend the points you hold while capturing any you don't. It is actually pretty simple and straightforward.

The Core Objectives for this Mode are:

• Capture enemy control points.

• Defend your control points.

• Capture all available control points to win.

Good reliable communication for your team is the secret to winning when you are playing with a number of mates. For pickup play - where no such communication exists - you basically have to rely upon your teammates understanding the priority of play.

The game starts with a single control point that is up for grabs at the center of the map - so the obvious initiative is to take lead and grab and then hold THAT point. That is your starting point - then as more control points become available, you try to do the same with each.

The secret to success for this mode is battlefield control. It really is that simple. You want a good mix of heavy weapons and you want your team all equipped with Jump Packs so you can quickly move from point-to-point on the field.

While it is not totally effective one tactic that you can adopt is to have a small group whose sole function is to attack the enemy control point(s) whenever they attack YOURS. The logic being if they are attacking yours then theirs is not as well defended, and so your small capture team may be able to take it.

Of course that supposes your defensive team can hold YOUR point. Just saying.
