ALL Hoth Collectable Locations in 'Hero Battle' Mode

In total there are 5 Collectables in 'Hero Battle' mode on Hoth and finding them ALL will unlock the 'Scrap Collector' Achievement at the end of the match. The Collectables are in the form of a white diamond and when found will unlock a 'star' for that map. The video below will show you their locations.

Getting Inside AT-AT Walker Glitch

The following video will show you a glitch which enables you to get inside an AT-AT Walker and use it as a giant shield while you pick off the enemy.

Droids

Not only are Droids effective at attacking the enemy team they also have a scan pulse that reveals enemies to your entire team.


AT-ST Weak Spot

There is a weak spot on the back of the 'head' of the AT-ST's which you should try targeting when attacking one. If you are piloting an AT-ST you need to defend against attacks there.


Main Menu R2-D2, C-3PO & AT-AT Walker Easter Egg

If you remain idle at the 'Main Menu' for about 90 seconds the game will automatically enter a cinematic depending on what icon is on the right of your options. If R2D2 is there then the argument between the two robots will begin, and if a stormtrooper is in the same place then an AT-AT Walker and little robot will wander about on your screen.

Easy 'Safety ain't the Point of a Joyride' Achievement

The following video will show you how to easily get the 'Safety ain't the Point of a Joyride' Achievement in the training mission 'Endor Chase'. To be successful the health bar at the bottom must stay at 100 ALL the time and you must not hit any objects.

Ion Shot Mod

The Ion Shot mod will allow your primary weapon to fire ion-charged bolts which during their active time will make them additionally effective against shields, droids and vehicles. The Iron Shot mod is weak against troopers.


Easy 'Best Star Pilot in the Galaxy' Achievement

The following video will show you how you can easily get the 'Best Star Pilot in the Galaxy' Achievement in the training mission 'Beggar's Canyon'. There is a 2 minute time limit that starts from when you shoot the first TIE fighter. When shooting the laser gun you must aim the white dot exactly on the enemy so the lock-on turns yellow. You do not have to be so precise when aiming your rockets.

Energy Shields

Be aware that Energy Shields are effective at blocking incoming energy blasts but solid projectiles like grenades, rockets and the Cycler Rifle slug will pass straight through them.


Change Power-Up

If you press 'Interact' (E, X, Square) in front of a power-up you do not want the game will change it to a different one.


Smoke Grenade

It is worth remembering that the Smoke Grenade will not only reduce the vision of the enemy when used it is also capable of blocking lock-on functions for weapons, turrets and droids.


Targeting System

If you are struggling to land your shots with the starfighters activate your targeting system by holding the Left Trigger.
