Before you continue to the Greenhouse, where Marguerite awaits, there are actually various things you can (and should) do beforehand. To start off with, you now have nine to ten Antique Coins, which means you can purchase any of the three items in the trailer. The Magnum is, obviously, very powerful, but it only comes with ONE round. The flipside of it is that once you have the Magnum, the game will register it as one of your weapons, increasing the chance that you'll find ammunition for it.

Other than purchasing your item(s) of choice with Antique Coins, you can put the Crow Key to good use by going back to the Main House (also bring a lockpick), more specifically to the room with the deer, the Drawing Room (from the Main Hall, through the wall where you solved the projector puzzle). The Supplies Room behind the now unlocked Crow Door (adjacent to the Drawing Room) contains the following items:

Grenade Launcher, Gunpowder, Solid Fuel, Flame Rounds x1, Shotgun Shells x3, and a Strong Chem Fluid in the corner hidden behind the crates (crouch to grab it).

I'd catch a Grenade (Launcher) for you!
I'd catch a Grenade (Launcher) for you!

There are also various hard-to-spot items that you might've missed earlier, scattered around the house. You can find, in the adjacent room to the Drawing Room, some Gunpowder in the lower portion of the iron rack in the corner (this is the room with a lantern on the table). Going to the basement, you can find some Strong Chem Fluid in the room with the body puzzle where you had to open up the body bag holders in the right order. It can be found underneath the first medical bed. Then there's a Herb to be found where you opened up the shutter. The cabinet directly in front of you from the shutter has a wooden pallet standing next to it; behind it is the herb. And if you head all the way to the room where you found the Deputy, check the lower right of the corner to find a Chem Fluid on the lower shelf.

Going back to the porch just outside of the Main Hall, go off the porch and check out the pot on the left side for a Herb. You can also collect a Separating Agent if you turn right and into the grass, to the house (past the pot where you found an antique coin on earlier). The fluid is attached to the house.

There's one last item you might've missed so far, and it's in the entrance area of the Old House (when you enter from the initial entrance). The door that leads to the Guest Room (don't go through) has a candle and two bricks standing next to it. You can find ammo (I found - MAG Ammo x2 next to the bricks.

Return to the trailer and re-organize your inventory to prepare for the upcoming boss battle. An excellent choice is to take the Grenade Launcher with five or six Flame Rounds (you can make them by combining Solid Fuel and Stong Chem Fluid). This will make your life considerably easier. You'll also want to take along the Burner and the Shotgun, plus additional ammunition for both. Last, take along the M19 Handgun (assemble it with the Repair Kit and the Broken Handgun if you haven't done so already) and a stock of First Aid Meds. You can fill the clip of your handgun with both regular and enhanced ammo. There is no need for additional handgun ammo - you'll have plenty enough firepower from your other weapons; the handgun is a mere backup. Lastly, if you see any blood stains on your screen indicating you're not 100% healed up yet, use a herb. Now you're all set to go.

Head up the stairs leading to the Greenhouse and snatch the Treasure Photo on the left side of the start of the stairs. In the room upstairs, don't drop down yet but head right. There's a Separating Agent, Solid Fuel and a locked drawer here, as well as two Herbs. (If you're feeling underprepared, for example if you don't already have a stock of five Flame Rounds, you can make a quick trip back to the trailer and combine the Solid Fuel with a Solid Chem Fluid for more Flame Rounds).

Note: You can also find MAG Ammo x3 in the toilet of the trailer after getting the aforementioned Treasure Photo.

When you're all set, drop down. You can find a smashable Wooden Box in the far end of the room in a corner. The main corridor holds some Psychostimulants on the bench to the left, and you can burn the spiders on the door to the right with a controlled burst so you can pass through safely later. The room to the northeast contains a locker - again with spiders on it, so use the burner. Inside you'll find Shotgun Shells x8 and a Strong Chem Fluid.

MARGUERITE BOSS FIGHT

Now you have no choice but to go upstairs. Arm yourself with a good weapon and shoot/burn Marguerite as you comes through the window. The boss fight officially begins now, and this time your survival does depend on actually hurting Marguerite as much as possible with your weapons. The basic idea is simple: Marguerite can attack you directly whenever she's facing you, and she can lay insect nests that will in turn attack you.

Marguerite Boss Fight

She has one weak spot, namely her mutated belly. The most straightforward strategy is to use the Burner or Grenade Launcher with Flame Rounds to set her on fire, and switch to the Shotgun whenever her belly is exposed. This may be the case when she stand on her legs or whenever she crawls away from you. If she lays a nest somewhere, try to find it and destroy it with a well-aimed Flame Round. Alternatively the Burner or the Shotgun will work. Be sure to use a First Aid Med whenever you enter the caution status to keap a health buffer available, and chase Marguerite aggresively. At first the battle will be a little scary, but a few minutes in you'll realize she's got more to fear from you instead. If large bugs are bothering you, defeat them with either the Burner or your Knife. Deal enough damage to Marguerite and she'll disintegrate.

There are a lot of items in the entire Greenhouse area. As long as you have enough ammo and restoratives on you, don't go out of your way right now to find any. You'll have plenty of opportunity to do so after the battle ends. These are all items to be found:

Solid Fuel and a Herb in the (with spiders covered) locker upstairs. A Wooden Box, a green drawer with (Handgun) Ammo, Handgun Ammo and Burner Fuel on an iron table on the west side of the second floor, a Chem Fluid on the lawnmower south/southwest on the ground level, a Wooden Box to the west/left from there, a Herb and a First Aid Med nearby that box (in the Greenhouse, south side near the tree), Solid Fuel and a Chem Fluid in the locker in the northwest corner of the Greenhouse, a Chem Fluid on the green metal shelves to the east (in the adjacent room), (Handgun) Ammo in the green desk drawer, some Burner Fuel in a drawer in a white-ish cabinet, south from the green shelves you found the chem fluid in, Burner Fuel attached to the wall directly south of the yellow ladder (still on the ground level).
