5 - Dissection Room, Morgue Boss Fight

With the shotgun available, head back to the basement and be sure to have a healthy supply of ammunition, restoratives and the Scorpion and Dissection Room Keys.

Head back to the basement and go through the door near where you opened up the green shutter. This area contains Handgun Ammunition x7 in a bathtub in the left corner (a Molder will spawn there soon too, when you proceed) and a Chem Fluid in another bath up ahead (another Molder will spawn near the steps). Lure the Molders back to the hall and take them out there with your handgun.

Continue up the steps in the room with the bathtubs and collect the Herb from the hole in the wall. Proceed through the door and take note of the Molder to your immediate left. You can lure him into the previous room but seemingly not much further than that or it will dissolve, meaning you haven't 'beaten' it yet and it will simply resparn in the boiler room. So lure it back and kill it. There are two more Molders in the boiler room and there really is no shame in grabbing out your shotgun and aiming for their heads. You'll find Shotgun Shells x2 on the left side of the room anyway. With the boiler room cleared of enemies, inspect the locker near the next door for a Powerful Chem Fluid.

Use the Dissection Room Key on the door and head through. You can find Shotgun Shells x5 in the locker on the right, then attempt to grab the Red Dog's Head to trigger a short scene. Head downstairs and collect the Shotgun Shells x2 and a Herb on the left side before heading through the double doors.

Go upstairs on the right and head into the room to the right to spot the Deputy, who seems to be already morphing - not good. In any case, continue and grab the Red Dog's Head from the chain to initiate the boss fight with Jack.

MORGUE BOSS FIGHT

Don't waste any ammo on Jack; it's useless. In the first phase of the fight, simply run away from Jack and try to always have a body bag between him and you and kick the bag against him, stunning him. Do this around seven to ten times and the second phase of the fight begins. Jack will grab a nasty looking chainsaw-like weapon. When he comes after you, quickly run to the place where he grabbed his weapon from (he opened the fence to get it) and collect the Chainsaw. With this in hand you can actually hurt Jack. Continue the fight as you did, running away and hiding behind body bags, kicking them into Jack, briefly stunning him. Whenever he's stunned for a second or two, use the chainsaw on him, preferably on his flesh. After a few times Jack will heavily mutate. This is your chance to really get some damage in. Jack will come back to normal and start cutting down the pillar in the middle as well as body bags. Use whatever's left as cover and stick to the old strategy. After three mutations, you can put Jack to rest with the chainsaw. Collect the loot from the Wooden Box and don't forget to snatch the First Aid Med in a corner of the area.

To continue you must, unfortunately, sacrifice the chainsaw by using it on the tough metal bar blocking the iron door. After this, head back upstairs and go past the chain where you grabbed the Red Dog's Head from, going downstairs. The Snake door here is locked, but you can collect some Gunpowder from underneath the stairs. Now you have everything this area has to offer, so head back all the way to the Safe Room.
