Head through the nearby door to continue. Check out the locker to your immediate left to find some Chem Fluid. Check out the briefcase in the corner of the corridor to collect the Tattered Secret Document file (the top side of the case).

The nearby room contains a locked toolbox, Machine Gun Ammo, Gunpowder (inside drawer), Chem Fluid (inside locker), Herb (on the desk). The next door is locked, so you'll need to find some corrosive. Open the elevator door near the briefcase in the corridor you just came from and head up the ladder (since the elevator hatch is locked). Drop down the nearby hole to reach the ship's deck, 4F.

The cabinet drawers on the left (west) side contain Gunpowder, and there's a Remote Bomb on the panels on the east side of the room. Check out the PC on the south and switch camera's until you spot Ethan. Go through the door on the southeast to reach the Captain's Cabin. The locker with the machine gun is locked, but for now you can grab the Ship Map and the Lug Wrench on the desk.

Continue through the corridor to the west and check out the locker to your left to find a Herb. Proceed and at the stairs, take note (on the left side) of the Mr. Everywhere Statue (smash it later). There's also a Remote Bomb lying on the stairs.

Head back to the corridor and check out the elevator doors. Open them up, drop down and use the Lug Wrench to open the hatch and go down. Check out the Mechanic's Memo file on the wall and inspect the slots. You require a fuse and a cable.

Climb up and head west, into the first door, to reach the Guest Room (which is also a Safe Room, heading through can destroy enemies nearby). Grab the Corrosive, Handgun Ammo and (reread if you hadn't done so in the Old Videotape) the Orders file. Go back to the corridor and check out the bench on the floor directly opposite of the elevator to find the Survival Knife.

Use the corrosive on the door to the end (southeast) and head inside (if an enemy spawns before this, retreat to the Safe Room to make them disappear). Inside this part of the Bunk Room you can find Remote Bomb x2, a Strong Chem Fluid (in the small cabinet to the right) and the Captain's Cabin Locker Key on the desk.

Head back all the way up the ladder in the elevator shaft and drop down to the deck once more. Unfortunately there are several enemies here now. Quickly rush to the Captain's Cabin and close the door behind you. Inside the locker you'll find the P19 Machine Gun and a Remote Bomb. Quickly go out of the room, rush to the Mr. Everywhere Statue and shoot it, then drop down the elevator shaft again.

Drop into the elevator itself and climb to the 2nd floor. Head inside the Dining Room and kill the Moulded. Go through the hole, grab the Machine Gun Ammo, then head back and check out the adjacent room. The cabinet on the right contains some Gunpowder. Head through the door to the south to enter the Lounge, where you can find a Herb and a safe. To unlock it, simply rotate the paintings so they are placed in the same way as the ones on the opposite wall. The safe contains Corrosive x3, which is essentially a jackpot.

Now head to the room on the northeast, climb the ladder to reach the Shaft Room. You'll find two Remote Bombs, a Lockpick and a Mr. Everywhere Statue here.

Now go back to the floor you came from (2F) and enter the Bunk Room (northern part) by the door. A Moulded most likely drops down from the ceiling. Run back to the Safe Room to eliminate it. In this part of the Bunk Room you can find Chem Fluid (inside the microwave), Gunpowder (in the desk drawer) and a newspaper article about Raccoon City.

Go inside the elevator again and go up to 3F. A crawling Moulded will appear near the locked door in the corner, so take it out. You can also use your lockpick on the locked toolbox to find an Antique Coin inside. Use a corrosive on the door to proceed.

Enter the Shower Room and then the Sick Bay. Place a remote bomb in the doorway connecting these two rooms. In the Sick Bay, approach the wires in the northwest corner and a Fat Moulded will spawn in the Shower Room. When it steps on the remote bomb, blast it away. Then place one or two more bombs and blow him to bits. When he's done for, explore the area. There are Chem Fluid, Strong Chem Fluid (both in cabinets to the right as you enter the Sick Bay), Corrosive (in cabinet in northeast corner), Remote Bomb (at end of hall to the east). Grab the Power Cable from the corner.

Now all you need is the fuse. Backtrack to the room where you watched the Old Videotape (go past the elevator) and go through, to the stairs in the back (northwest). Head down two levels to reach 1F. The Fuse is immediately next to the door (you placed it there in the video), but the door will be locked. Run past the Moulded in the corridor south and go into the Maintenance Room (a Safe Room).

Here you can find an MPM Handgun in the drawer, and you can save your game. The handgun is quite poor, so stick to your Machine Gun as a main weapon. Kill the two Four-legged Moulded (who will respawn if you hadn't killed them) with a remote bomb or the machine gun.

Now explore some optiona rooms for extra items. The Recreation Room in the northeast (use a corrosive) contains a Backpack and a Corrosive, as well as Remote Bombs x2, Machine Gun Ammo and a Herb on the ground.

You can find the Jim's Letter file on a bunk bed in the Bunk Room, and some Handgun Ammo underneath one of the bunk beds. The adjacent room to the Bunk Room contains the Giovanni's Will file, a Wooden Crate, and some Psychostimulants.

You can now optionally explore the Stock Room (contains a Herb and a Wooden Crate) and the Laundry Room (contains a Moulded, a Chem Fluid and Machine Gun Ammo).

When you're all set, save your game, head to the south part, climb up the elevator and repair it with the power cable and fuse, then hit S2. There will be a few enemies in the corridor(s) up ahead. One effective strategy is to rush through the first corridor, ignoring the Moulded, and turning to the right room in the next corridor, then place a remote bomb in the doorway to kill one or two Moulded. In any case you should have enough bullets to slay them all. This room contains Remote Bomb x2, Machine Gun Ammo and (inside the locker) Handgun Ammo.

Enter the No. 1 Engine Room and check the left side of the room for a Remote Bomb and Machine Gun Ammo. Proceed and empty your clip on the Moulded that appears at the corner of the stairs. Go up and defeat the Fat Moulded with remote bombs (backtrack). There are two Wooden Crates here (one to your left and one on the path).

Head through the double doors and go down the steps. Spot the locked box on the wall down the steps and open it with a corrosive to find an Antique Coin inside. We'll always make time for those, right? Demon hordes, Moulded hordes - no matter!

Make your way to the end of the hall and check your map first; enter the small Cargo Bay room first and use a corrosive on the locked box on the wall to get two Remote Bombs.
