12 - Wrecked Ship, Old Videotape

You start this chapter with no weapons, which is rather unfortunate... and scary.

Proceed down the path and check out the body, then head into the ship. Head up to S1 and check out the hatch in the room to continue. In the ventilation shaft, be sure to check out the right side at the fork to find an Antique Coin that is rather easily missed. Continue to drop to S2.

Walk through the next halls, inspect the mostly empty rooms and head outside. Go up the steps to watch a cutscene, then head up the ladder and drop down into the water. Here, check out the left side and crouch to find a very well hidden (practically invisible) Antique Coin in the water. You must be crouched; only then will the icon to pick it up show.

Climb the ladder and watch the scene. You now need a Fuse to enter the door to the left. Check your map and go in the room to your right (east) of the stairs. A Moulded will spawn inside, so quickly rush past it, grab the General Purpose Fuse on the wall and rush to the door at the far west of the corridor and use the Fuse to go inside. Don't worry about missing items in the previous room(s). Later you can go back for them.

In this room, grab the Old Videotape and put it in the VHS to play it (mandatorily).

This is a long sequence and you'll actually have a Machine Gun to kill some enemies. Check out the Orders file on the desk, then go to the adjacent corridor. The elevator can't be used so search the area first. Go through the dining room, through the gap in the corner and inspect the vomit. Search the place for items, then go back to the corridor and continue in the corridor to the east. There's a Moulded in the room here; kill it. Get the Supplements and the Herb, then go to the elevator. Kill the Moulded inside and go to S2.

Kill the two Moulded in this hall and proceed until you reach a door to your left, behind which you can find two Remote Bombs. Go through the engine room and defeat the Moulded at the upper section. Go through the doors, check the door at the end, then check out the room at the end and pull away the divider to find Corrosive x3. Use one of them on the nearby locked door to spot Eveline.

Head back to the elevator. On the way, use a Corrosive on the locked door you passed earlier. Grab all items inside (remember to crouch and search too). As you head back, use Remote Bombs for groups of Moulded.

After going with the elevator, get out and go to the bunk room, where you can open the locked locker with a corrosive. To complete the video tape, head through the double doors of the main room (dining room) and go north, then climb through the upper hole in the corner. Head up the stairs and approach Alan.

Watch the scene, then use the PC in the next room. then head through the door.
