Supply items in Loop Hero are special items you can obtain once you have built the Supply Depot in your camp. Once this building has been placed the 'Supply' menu will become unlocked, and you will start to randomly receive supply items on the battlefield. Building the Supply Depot will also unlock the ability to craft supply items. Crafting though is random, the game will choose from four categories the supply item you can craft. The four categories are food, tools, jewelry, and furniture.

As you progress in Loop Hero you will start to accumulate lots of supply items and the only way in which you will be able to increase the number which you bring on expeditions is by building mud huts. Once you have built and placed all the other buildings you should try to completely cover the available space in your camp with mud huts. Each mud hut you build will give you an additional equipped slot and upgrading them will increase the number. The most cost-effective way to then upgrade your mud huts is to do so slowly whenever possible as you progress in the game.

The best supply items to carry in Loop Hero will be determined by the character class you have chosen and your play style in the game. Whether you are playing as the Warrior, Rogue, or Necromancer you will quickly realize that some supply items are far more useful for your class of character than others, and it is these that you should prioritize. Listed below are some supply items you can obtain along with their effect in the game.

The Blacksmith’s Hammer:

Gives you +1 defense.

Rare Book:

Gives you +1 defense for every card in your hand (this does not stack).

Mixed Nuts:

Gives you +2 max HP for every point of defense. This supply item is particularly effective when paired with Blacksmith’s Hammer and Rare Book.

The Alchemist’s Shelf:

Gives you an additional potion slot.

Exquisit Mirror:

Gives you a 6% chance of deflecting lightning or magic damage onto a random enemy. When you have 17 of them it increases the chance to 100%.

Old Painting:

Increases damage done to bosses by 4%. If you stack 25 of them you will double the damage dealt to bosses.

The Count’s Chair:

Gives you +1% vampirism if you already have it (if you obtain between 90 and 100 of this supply item it will mean that, with only one piece of gear giving you any amount of vampirism, every point of damage you deal will come back as HP).

The Antique Shelf:

Give you +1 max HP for every whole resource you gather during the expedition (stack as many of these as possible to get increase your health).

The Farmer’s Scythe:

Gives you 5% chances of getting a ration while passing through a wheat field, and 3% of your damage becomes damage to all (this means that if you stack 33 of them, all the damage you make each time you attack will be applied to all the enemies - and the original target will get 200% damage). You will aslo get a 150% chance to receive a ration while passing through wheat. This supply item is particularly effective when paired with the Antique Shelf.
